A new running event in the pristine Langhorne Creek Wine Region - a unique and often overlooked area that is host to some incredible back-roads and dirt tracks that traverse through vineyards and scrubland alike. It can be tough going, but the picturesque scenes make it all worthwhile.
The JLF Trek is an endurance event designed to challenge you physically and mentally. A medium to high level of fitness is required but with the right preparation and attitude you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve. Whether you complete the full two-day event or a shorter section, this weekend will leave you inspired and ready to take on the world. Taking place through the beautiful Kuitpo Forest and stunning Fleurieu Peninsula countryside.
The Pioneer Women’s Trail was rediscovered by members of the Hahndorf and Burnside Branches of the National Trust, and Walking SA in 1980. The annual Pioneer Women’s Trail Walk retraces the steps of the women and girls from Hahndorf to Beaumont House. Our walk of 26km ends there, but they would have continued for another 9km into central Adelaide. Since the event started in 2009 many hundreds of women, men and children have followed in their footsteps.
The course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park. Runners are inspired by post-bushfire regenerating flora and fauna, undulating roads and trails, an exposed coastal section with views to the powerful Southern Ocean and a boardwalk leading to the iconic Remarkable Rocks. The race format encourages a spirit of camaraderie amongst runners as they pass by each other throughout the day. (It's on road, but the scenery - and elevation - is more like a trail run. )
The Great Kanku‑Breakaways Marathon and Fun Run is held in the magnificent Kanku–Breakaways Conservation Park, 30kms north of Coober Pedy, in outback South Australia. The event is now held wholly in the conservation park, a registered Aboriginal heritage site. It winds through the spectacular coloured hills, along the dog fence and back to the lookouts.
Join us to run one of South Australia’s most iconic landmarks – Granite Island at Victor Harbor. The Granite Island Run courses will challenge runners of all levels with the new causeway, tram lines, gravel trails and some short sharp climbs to negotiate, but you will be rewarded with million dollar views across our spectacular south coast.

The event will start and finish at the Norton Summit Primary School and runners will make their way towards Morialta Conservation Park, one of the most scenic parks in all of Adelaide!
